The Travel By Candle Journey
Hey, I'm Hannah...
I started Travel By Candle when I was being driven mad by travel lockdowns during COVID times.
I needed to express my travel addiction somehow, so one thing led to another and before long, I was creating candles inspired by my past adventures. I was filling my tiny one-bed flat with more candle fumes than oxygen, and after a lot of trial and error, started creating candles that I proudly displayed around my little home.
It started as a hobby, which I poured far too much time and money into. But gradually, I started to create candles that I was proud enough to share. So friends, family members and colleagues started getting personalised travel-themed candles for birthdays, Christmas, leaving gifts, and any other event you can imagine.
After a while, I decided to try and take my candles to a local market. And when that went better than I expected, I started selling online.
Since then, this brand has become so much more than my Sunday afternoons. Friends and family have got involved to bring Travel By Candle to life, and it's become a pride and joy that I hope others come to love as much as I do.

The content creator and one of the creative minds behind Travel By Candle. My journey with Travel By Candle started with late nights laughing over candle packing and impromptu photoshoots as Hannah’s hobby bloomed into a business.
Now, I have the joy of bringing the brand to life through social media, content writing, product photography and concept generating.
Whether I’m writing content or getting creative with candle photoshoots, my role is to capture Travel By Candle’s warmth, personality and sense of adventure.
As an artist with my own business, I’ve built a platform where I can engage and interact with my audience, share the story of my art journey, and host a community of artists that support one another. My goal is for my artwork to connect with my audience, and help them understand me a little better.
While social media outreach is great, I absolutely love working art markets. I began my art business journey working small art markets on the weekend. This quickly grew into me fostering relationships with local independent artists, arranging commission pieces and having face to face in-depth conversations with my followers about my art and what it means to them. Thanks to my experience in sales, I have been able to help Hannah at Travel By Candle’s in person markets and sales events.
